Watching this scene again after having finished all six seasons- I wept like a small child. This was the saddest moment in the series thus far, but you can’t fully understand it until you know more of their history. I love them.
I didn’t actually catch that. I need to rewatch every episode River’s in, in order to really totally understand their relationship. I still hope there will be a lot of River in season 7. I kinda forgot how Doctor Who was before her, and can’t imagine what it’ll be without her…
